Icredible Health Benefits of Mint

Mint is a very versatile product - both spice and herb. Some use it in the kitchen - for flavoring salads, meats and refreshing beverages. Menthol pastilles are recommended for a stuffy nose, bad breath in the mouth, to reduce tension in an airplane. In cosmetics, mint extract gives skin-rejuvenating products an effect.

Mint: external application

Mint oil helps in inflammation of the skin and acne, nourishes and refreshes.

Mint decoction is also known in folk tradition as a skin toning agent: Put a little mint in boiling water and allow standing for 15-20 minutes, pouring into ice molds and placing in the freezer, placing the cubes in a cloth and with it rub the skin.

In the case of headache, mild discomfort or total loss of tone, put 1-2 drops of peppermint oil on the temples and rub well.

Mint extract has a common antibacterial effect and is therefore often included in oral hygiene products - toothpastes, mouthwashes, disinfecting suckers. The daily use of mint product prevents the development of bacteria in the mouth, reduces inflammation of the gums and removes the unpleasant breath.

Mint baths are recommended for rheumatism. About 200 g of dried mint is dissolved in 3 liters of hot water and added to the bath. In order to have an effect, staying in it should be at least 15-20 minutes.

Mint extract is one of the most common ingredients in creams and foot antiperspirants. It normalizes blood circulation, cools, reduces sweating and the risk of developing fungi.

Mint oil is also a good repellent - it reduces itching, redness and swelling of the bite.

Hot inhalation with peppermint oil helps with a cold - especially a stuffy nose (especially in the early stages of the condition).

Mint: internal use

-Thanks to the menthol that is part of the mint, it has a slight anesthetic effect and reduces stomach cramps. Poisoning normalizes digestion, reduces gas release and gastrointestinal tract load. It works best if you take 1/3 cup before eating.
-Mint tea stimulates bile secretion (in combination with dandelion roots is recommended for diabetes mellitus) and promotes the absorption of fatty foods.
-Chewing mint containing cream relieves breathing.
-Normalizes heart rhythm; helps with tachycardia, angina and arrhythmia.

Cinnamon is not just an add-on to our cookery experiments or to our morning coffee. Its curative properties, which can help us in unexpected moments, are a little known. From cold, through parasitic infections and even as a means of lowering blood sugar, cinnamon is the magic spice that can save your day. One of the most popular uses of cinnamon is to affect blood sugar levels.
